About

How does the Infinite Brahman appear as the finite world? Through Its own power, Māyā. Without undergoing any change, Brahman manifests as Īśvara-the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Creator-while remaining ever pure and untouched. The difference between Īśvara and Jīva is only due to Māyā: Īśvara controls Māyā, while Jīva is deluded by it. In essence, both are not different-they are one Brahman alone. Through the Guru’s teaching, the prepared seeker transcends Māyā and realizes this truth-this is Mokṣa. Hari aum!
