About
Hari aum! 🙏🏾 We human beings are truly blessed. We are endowed with a fully developed mind and a refined intellect — the unique capacity to discern: What is right and wrong, what is permanent and impermanent, what is appearance and Truth, what is form and Reality. This mind–intellect complex is not a small gift. It is not meant only for: thinking about the world of names and forms, preoccupations with family, friends, and society, endless involvement in possessions, achievements, status, and fame, the constant urge to earn more, have more, and become more. If this is all we use the intellect for, we reduce a sacred instrument into a tool of mere survival and ambition. Vedānta reminds us of its true purpose: To utilise the mind and intellect for the upliftment of the Self, for the removal of Self-ignorance (Avidyā), and for the discovery of our true nature. This process is called Ātma-Chintanam — Self-reflection. It begins with the most sacred and transformative question: “Who am I?” Not as a philosophical curiosity, not as an intellectual exercise, but as a sincere inner inquiry. This introspection, as Advaita Vedānta teaches, opens the path to Truth — when guided by the Guru, and sustained by the grace of Bhagavān. Step by step, this Self-inquiry leads the seeker from ignorance to clarity, from confusion to discrimination, from bondage to freedom, from appearance to Reality, from individuality to the Ultimate Truth. This is the true purpose of being human. This is the sacred direction of Ātma-Chintanam. From Avaraṇa (I don’t know the Truth), through Adhyāropa (I know wrongly), towards Advaita-jñāna (I know rightly). Hari aum Tat Sat 🙏🏾
