We begin the third book of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda ji’s Make Impossible Possible with a thought-provoking quotation: “The thought, ‘I am the body’, is most humorous, laughable, laughable, laughable indeed.” Having explored Be Available and Value Values, we now turn towards the deeper understanding of our own identity. If we say “my watch”, “my clothes”, “my body” and “my mind”, who is the ‘I’ to whom these belong? Why, despite our intelligence and logical understanding, do we continue to identify ourselves with the changing body and mind? Through simple examples and Vedāntic reflection, this talk invites us to question our habitual identification and begin the journey of spiritual inquiry. Hari aum!
