Day 252 - Actually honesty alone pays

About

Guruji’s Quote: “Superficially dishonesty may seem to pay, but we realise that actually honesty alone pays.” We would all like things to be easy and quickly gained. But this path of ease and immediate gain is Preyas, the path of what is pleasant. Yet, when something comes too easily and too quickly, it often brings long-term pain and trouble. As the saying goes, “Easy come, easy go.” On the other hand, what is gained through painstaking effort and over time often remains longer, is more fulfilling, and is truly valued. Today’s talk continues the reflection from the previous two days: choosing Śreyas over Preyas, and thereby walking the path of Dharma, spirituality and peace of mind. Hari Aum!
