About
“Ask not, Am I destined to succeed? Ask, ‘Am I determined to succeed”? The central understanding is very much in keeping with the Vedantic vision. The distinction Guruji makes between destiny and determination beautifully brings the seeker from a passive attitude to Purushārtha. And that makes Guruji’s quote particularly powerful: don’t waste your energy trying to discover whether success is destined for you. Use that energy to become determined enough to pursue the right goal with clarity, effort and faith. Hari aum!
