About
Day 201 – Make Impossible – Possible A New Journey Through Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda Ji’s Pocket-Sized Quotes Hari aum! Today, with Day 201, we begin a beautiful new journey inspired by a collection of pocket-sized quotes by Pujya Swami Tejomayananda Ji, under the inspiring theme “Make Impossible – Possible.” The collection is presented through four small books, each pointing towards an important dimension of a meaningful and fulfilling life: 1. Be Available 2. Value Values 3. Seek Spirituality 4. Achieve Happiness At first, these may appear to be four separate themes. But when seen together, they reveal a beautiful progression—from how we relate to life and others, to how we live, what we seek, and finally what we discover. We begin with Be Available. Availability is not merely physical presence. It is the willingness to be present—with our family, our work, our responsibilities, our opportunities to serve, and even with our own inner life. A person who is constantly occupied with oneself may be physically present but mentally unavailable. True availability requires openness, attention and readiness to participate fully in life. From availability, we move to Value Values. Once we become available to life, we must ask: How should I live? What should guide my choices? What is truly valuable? Values give direction to our actions and dignity to our lives. Truthfulness, compassion, discipline, patience, responsibility, respect and contentment are not merely rules of good behaviour; they contribute to the refinement and maturity of the mind. Then comes Seek Spirituality. Having learned to live with values, we naturally begin to look beyond the surface of life. We begin asking deeper questions: Who am I? What is the purpose of life? What is lasting? Where does true happiness come from? Spirituality takes us from merely managing life successfully to understanding life and, ultimately, understanding ourselves. Finally, we come to Achieve Happiness. But here Vedanta gives us a profound change of perspective. Ordinarily, we think happiness is something we must achieve by obtaining the right people, possessions, circumstances or experiences. Vedanta points us towards a deeper understanding: happiness is not something external that we ultimately acquire; it is the fullness of our own true nature. Thus, the four themes can be seen as a gradual journey: Be Available → Value Values → Seek Spirituality → Achieve Happiness Or, in another way: Be present → Live rightly → Seek the Truth → Discover fullness. This also gives a deeper meaning to the title “Make Impossible – Possible.” What appears impossible may not always be an external achievement. Sometimes the real impossibility is within us—the inability to change a habit, overcome a limitation, live according to our values, remain peaceful in difficult circumstances, or discover the happiness that does not depend upon changing situations. The spiritual journey begins when we recognise that transformation is possible. Over the coming days, we shall therefore explore these beautiful thoughts of Pujya Swami Tejomayananda Ji—not merely as quotations to understand intellectually, but as pointers for reflection and living. The journey begins today with a simple invitation: Be Available. Available to life. Available to learning. Available to service. Available to values. Available to spirituality. And ultimately, available to discover the happiness that is already within us. Day 201 marks the beginning of this new journey: “Make Impossible – Possible.” Hari aum!
