About
Hari aum! Before we begin our study of the Brahma Sūtras, it is important that we first bow down to the great sage who gifted them to humanity—Bhagavān Vedavyāsa. Whenever we study a scripture, our tradition first introduces us to the ṛṣi, for behind every revealed teaching stands a great master through whom the knowledge has reached us. The composer of the Brahma Sūtras is Bhagavān Vedavyāsa, also known as Bādarāyaṇa.
