About

We have come full circle. That circle itself conveys the message of the Gītā. We started with Bhīṣma, the embodiment of steadfastness and surrender, journeyed through Kṛṣṇa’s timeless teachings to transform our understanding, watched Arjuna rise from despair to purposeful action, witnessed the triumph and tragedy of the Mahābhārata war, and finally arrived once more at Bhīṣma’s feet. The beginning and the end point to the same truth: Knowledge must culminate in right action. Right action must mature into devotion. Devotion must blossom into complete surrender to Bhagavān. The Gītā begins with a troubled mind and ends with a resolved one. The Mahābhārata begins with armies assembled for war and concludes with a single sage on a bed of arrows teaching that the highest victory is not over an external enemy, but over one’s own ignorance, ego, and attachment. May we, like Arjuna, find the courage to say, “Kariṣye vacanaṁ tava”—“I shall live according to Your teaching.” And may we, like Pitāmaha Bhīṣma, live a life of dharma and leave this world with our minds absorbed in the Lord alone. Hari Aum Tat Sat. 🙏🏾
