About
Kṣetra-Kṣetrajña Vibhāga Yoga As we continue our journey through the Bhagavad Gītā, it is helpful to see the flow of the teaching. Chapters 1–6 primarily dealt with the individual seeker—the Tvam Pada, the “you” aspect of the Mahāvākya. Chapters 7–12 unfolded the glory and nature of Īśvara—the Tat Pada, the “That” aspect. Now, beginning with Chapter 13, Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa starts a deeper inquiry into the apparent individual by helping us distinguish between the Field (Kṣetra) and the Knower of the Field (Kṣetrajña). This chapter is one of the most profound philosophical chapters of the Gītā. Here, Bhagavān takes Arjuna from the external world of action into the inner world of Self-discovery. Hari aum!
