About

In Vibhūti Yoga, Arjuna asks Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, “How may I constantly think of You and meditate upon You?” In response, Kṛṣṇa reveals His divine manifestations (Vibhūtis) present throughout creation. From the sun, mountains, rivers, and sages to the mind, knowledge, strength, and even the Ātman within every being, He shows that all greatness, beauty, power, and excellence are expressions of the One Divine Reality. The chapter culminates in a profound teaching: the Lord is not far away or confined to a temple or heaven; He is the very essence and Self of all beings. Therefore, wherever the mind sees greatness, purity, wisdom, or beauty, it can remember the Divine. The central message of Vibhūti Yoga is: “Learn to see God everywhere, because everything derives its existence, glory, and power from Him alone.” This chapter also prepares Arjuna for the next step-his longing to directly behold the Lord’s Universal Form, which unfolds in Chapter 11, Viśvarūpa Darśana Yoga. Hari aum tat sat!
